New Award Represents Potential Revenues of Approximately $25.9 Million

09:01 GMT, October 8, 2009 ALEXANDRIA, Va. | VSE Corporation (Nasdaq GS:VSEC) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary G&B Solutions, Inc., was awarded a $25.9 Million contract from the Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) to provide Enterprise Excellence Services in support of the Army’s Continuous Process Improvement Program (CPI). The contract has a period of performance of five years, including a base period of one year and four one-year option periods.

G&B has been selected to provide expert resources including Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Design for Lean Six Sigma, Axiomatic Design, Predictive Technologies, Probabilistic Technologies, Robust Design and Industry Best Practices. With prior support from VSE and G&B, ARDEC has become one of the first Government organizations to achieve CMMI Level 5 certification and recently became the first Federal Government organization to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
