| Globecomm Systems Receives U.S. Government Agency Contract to Provide Global SATCOM On-The-Move Communications |

(NASDAQ: GCOM), a leading global provider of satellite-based communications infrastructure solutions and services, announced today that the Company has been awarded a contract from a U.S. Government Agency under the Commercial SATCOM Terminal Program (CSTP) which is part of the Project Manager (PM) Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) and Program Executive Office: Command, Control and Communications Tactical (PEO C3T) under the World Wide Satellite Systems (WWSS) Program to provide global SATCOM On-The Move (OTM) communications. The contract is valued at $17.7 million with options for significant additional quantities and services. Globecomm Systems will lead this effort for the U.S. Government providing program management and services. The Linkabit division of L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) will work with Globecomm Systems as a subcontractor responsible for development and production of the terminals. |
