Aaron Grace joins SRC as a cyber intelligence specialist with more than 10 years of experience in cyber leadership, most recently as a network access engineer and network fusion and malware analysis team lead with the 688th Information Operations Wing. He also has familiarity with the U.S. Air Force, where he held increasingly responsible roles with the Information Requirements Division and the Information Warfare Center. Grace holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Indiana University Southeast.
Rick Hensley comes to SRC as a principal cyber security analyst on the cyber team. Previously he was a network access engineer and offensive network warfare team lead for the 688th Information Operations Wing. He is also a professor teaching information security and privacy at the University of Texas, San Antonio. Hensley served more than 10 years with the U.S. Navy, most recently as a lieutenant commander and division commander in the Navy Network Warfare Command. He holds a master’s degree in information technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a National Security Agency Center of Academic Excellence, and a bachelor’s degree in commerce/management information systems from the University of Virginia.
Mark Magee becomes a member of SRC’s cyber team as a security operations center supervisor. Prior to SRC, Magee worked as an analysis manager with Symantec, where he managed a team of security analysts and senior security analysts. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and holds an associate degree from ECPI College of Technology.
David Muran-de Assereto joins SRC as a principal cyber security engineer. He comes to their cyber team with more than 30 years of experience in computer security engineering, testing and electronic intelligence. He has direct experience in security testing systems and a broad range of experience with commercial and freeware security testing tools. Before joining SRC, Muran-de Assereto worked as a security engineer at Tenacity Solutions. He retired after 20 years with the U.S. Air Force, specializing in signals intelligence collection, processing, analysis and dissemination.
Greg Metzler has been hired as a principal cyber security analyst at SRC. With more than 20 years of technical and managerial experience in multi-national information technology security and information operations, he is a strong addition to this accomplished team. Metzler worked most recently at MITRE Corporation and before that, he was with the U.S. Strategic Command. After 21 years of active duty military experience, he retired as a U.S. Navy Commander. Metzler holds a master’s degree in national resource strategy from the National Defense University-Industrial College of the Armed Forces; a master’s degree in information technology management from the Naval Postgraduate School; and a bachelor’s degree in professional studies from Boston University. Currently, he is pursuing another graduate degree in computer science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Metzler is a graduate of the information assurance professional certificate program from the National Defense University-Information Resource Management College and holds several security certifications.
Jerald Tillery also joins SRC as a principal cyber security engineer. He has more than 30 years of experience in providing security engineering, system administration, system engineering testing and intelligence analysis. Tillery’s direct experience in security testing systems, along with his broad range of experience with commercial and freeware security testing tools illustrate why he is an important addition to the team. Prior to joining SRC, he was a contractor on the Director of National Intelligence Compliance Accreditation Testing Team. After 20 years of service, Tillery retired from the Air Force, where he was team lead of various system support efforts. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Maryland.
