08:08 GMT, October 6, 2008 Michael Bertilsson, 46, has worked at Sectra since 1989. He holds an MSc in engineering from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University and Doctor of Technology in information theory. His doctorial thesis dealt with cryptology and how to share secrets.

Michael Bertilsson replaces Jan-Olof Brüer who, parallel with his position as CEO and President of Sectra AB, has been Acting President of Sectra Communications since spring 2006.
