U.S. go ahead with missile shield? 

Update: Obamas office denies consent over missile deffence-shield

09:23 GMT, November 10, 2008 As AFP yesterday reported, Barack Obama has confirmed that he will go ahead with plans to build a U.S. missile defence shield in Eastern Europe.

After a telephone conversation between Obama and Polish President Lech Kaczynski, the Polish Governmental office released a press information saying “Barack Obama has underlined the importance of the strategic partnership between Poland and the United States, he expressed his hope of continuing the political and military cooperation between our two countries.”

The statement also pointed out the anti-missile shield project would go ahead.

However, the Obamas office immediately denied to have given over missile deffence-shield.
