10:30 GMT, June 11, 2009 Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is developing an innovative Arrow 3 Missile, designed to intercept and destroy the future, longer range threats. The interceptor integrates seamlessly into the Arrow Weapon System (AWS), complementing the current and future blocks of the Arrow 2, and enabling multiple engagement opportunities through its large kinematic envelope and short flight time. Recently, the U.S. government announced its plans to continue funding the Arrow Weapon System program, specifically the Arrow 3 System. |
